Where the scientific method and "I wonder what this button does" collide.
Betula Labs is where I build things that interest me—from genomic data tools to niche travel guides. It's an incubator for side projects that have graduated to something I want to share with the world (and sometimes spin into even bigger things). Here, we explore the intersection of technology, education, and play.
I’m a scientist who spends a lot of time (probably too much) obsessing over how to make complex data look beautiful and simple ideas actually work. I started Betula Labs because I needed a place for the experiments and curiosities that didn’t quite fit into a formal lab report. When I’m not playing around here (or working on my big projects), I like to be outside, on a plane, or in a coffee shop. You can see what else I’m up to over at erictdawson.com.
